I decided at the start of this, that if I kept with it, I would be in a different work environment by the end of the “year.”  Just to be clear, there is no way I can adequately spend time with my boys and fiance, launch multiple startups, finish my degree, work a full time job, play music out twice a week and release a solid, decently written solution every day.  So what do I intend?  I will commit to a years worth of posts.  They do me no good in my head, or just shared with a few friends, and I’m tired of hearing how much of a genius Steve Jobs was, or hearing about “advancements” on the news and thinking, “I drew a sketch of that as a teenager, about 25 years ago!” The think tank seems to be looking for a degree and the ideas don’t come from higher learning, they are only refined there.  A search engine can locate specific terms with precision.  Combine that fact with the time stamp of a blog and one can easily determine when a thought originated on the web.

I pledge to not put up any insignificant or nonsense idea, but only things I honestly consider worthwhile, and I have no idea what the topics will be.  My main interests are music, business and tech, but I’m all over the place really, so I hope it’s a wide, interesting range of thoughts.  I also pledge to not use anyone else’s idea, knowingly, and if I build upon another idea, I will give credit to the best of my knowledge.  I will not be researching whether or not the concept or device already exists before putting up the post on it.  Just know that I honestly wasn’t aware of it existing when I posted on it.  This will keep me on my toes.  I will be posting a follow up at the bottom of the post, if I do find similar things out there after I have published a post.  At the end of the day, there is no magic or trickery possible.  Posts are dated, and the true originator for any part of the concept is easy to determine.

The cell phone will more than likely be the device used, so my apologies in advance for spelling or grammar errors.

I will be jumping ahead a lot, in time that is.  Taking something and running off ahead.  It might seem far fetched at times, based on the current situation, but it should make sense adding whatever the premise is, to whatever block of time.

I start this on Sept 22.  The 7 month anniversary of the relationship of my life with the most brilliant and wonderful lady I have ever known.  Just having her in my life has surely caused the formation of new brain cells.
